A quick glance at rookie video model Veronica Rodriguez and you’ll understand why she was personally selected by Kanye West to appear in his Hype Williams–directed “Gold Digger” video. She’s a deadly combination. The 22-year-old’s long blonde hair and doll baby’s face make her adorable. Her 34D-24-39 measurements make her incredible. She inspires the ogle phrase “there must be something in the water.” In Veronica’s case, it’s something near the water. The murda Mexican is a product of the Bay Area’s Latino community (born in Salinas and currently living in San José), but is a die-hard representative of the whole Yay. “I love the Bay Area, so I hope someday someone else blows up from the Bay so I can be in the first [comeback] video,” she says. “I didn’t know that people didn’t know who [Bay rappers] were. The Latina princess had been modeling since age 12, but relinquished those vanity dreams when her teenage years called for steady income. She spent a little over a year as an assistant physical therapist, and had never gotten a chance to scratch her modeling itch. Last year, when she was discovered by Violator A&R Andre Neal during a visit to New York, her modeling career was resuscitated. In a matter of weeks Veronica was on the set of Fabolous’ video “Baby.” (Remember the miffed yet well-cushioned honey who stomped up the stairs because Fab was on his cell?) Ja Rule’s “Caught Up” was next, then another Fab video that never saw daylight and now “Gold Digger.” Four videos in six months—all with platinum artists and top-notch directors—and the sugary Leo still doesn’t understand what all the fuss is over her. “I have never looked at myself and said, I look good,” she says. “I know I’m attractive because people tell me I am. When I got the call from XXL I was like, ‘Why me?’ I’ve never understood how a girl could look at herself and say, I’m fine, if she looks at her- self every day.” As scrumptious as Veronica and her cinnabuns may look, she admits that her humble personality fuels the need to be reassured. This, surprisingly, has been a void in many of her relationships. “I’m a hopeless romantic,” she reveals. “Treat me like a lady, let me know how beautiful I am to you. No matter how many people tell me [I'm beautiful], it doesn’t mean anything if I don’t hear it from the person I care about. If the person you love isn’t telling you, you’re not gonna feel secure.” Veronica’s nonchalant attitude is not new. The aspiring actress has always been that way—even when it comes to the opposite sex. “I’ve never been into looks, so the guys that everyone thought were so hot in high school I didn’t like at all. Hailing from Windsor, Ontario, Sincerely and her family relocated to Atlanta, GA where she would attend college, majoring in business marketing. Her modeling career would quickly take off from there with the hottest video directors like Dave Myers, Hype Williams, Little x, Chris Robinson, Jesse Terrero, Billie Woodruff and Gil Green calling on her to be featured in videos from the most popular artists in the industry such as P. Diddy, 50 Cent, Ludacris, Outkast, Nelly, Fabolous, and Snoop Dog, just to name a few. Her appearances on the covers and between the pages of the most widely read publications are just as impressive, with fashion spreads in Vibe, Cosmopolitan, XXL (2001 Eye Candy of the Year), King, Complex, Black Men’s Magazine, and NV.

It would not be long before Hollywood would take notice of this fledgling talent. This year Sincerely made her silver screen debut appearing in two big box office sequels: 2 Fast 2 Furious and Bad Boys 2. Ms. Ward counts landing a role in both of these projects two of her most dynamic experiences to date.

Sincerely or “Sin” to friends and family has a host of siblings (five) who keep her grounded. She has a twin brother 5 minutes older named Larry, who she lovingly refers to as the love of her life, two baby brothers who are also fraternal twins, and a baby sister still in Ontario. A Virgo who enjoys reading, traveling and attending the theatre, says the biggest misconception about her is that she is “stuck-up”. On the contrary, says Sincerely. With all the success she has attained thus far in her career, Sincerely remains the same “sweet, down to earth person, who talks a lot, loves to laugh and have a good time and attends church every Sunday to remain spiritually focused.”

Tila Nguyen

(born October 24, 1981 in Singapore), best known as Tila Tequila, is an American glamour model and singer of Vietnamese and French heritage.

Although she was born in Singapore, Tila Nguyen is of Vietnamese heritage. Her parents left Vietnam just before Tila was born, and they stayed in Singapore for a couple of years before moving again, this time to Houston, Texas. Once in the Lone Star State, the Nguyens settled into a Buddhist gated community, where Tila and her older sister and brother grew up in a strict, sheltered environment.

As soon as she entered middle school, Nguyen developed a tomboy attitude and kept getting in fights. Her behavior eventually got her sent to a boarding school for six months before she was transferred to another school. As soon as she reached high school, she used her sister’s identification card to enter nightclubs, where she began experimenting with drugs and joined a gang. In an interview with Import Tuner, Nguyen said she had been searching for a sense of identity: “I was really confused then, ’cause at first I thought I was black, then I thought I was Hispanic and joined a cholo gang”.

Later she made some friends outside the gang who briefly helped turn her life around, however her past caught up with her, and she fled to Queens, New York at the age of sixteen. When she returned to Texas she had a three-way relationship, but eventually decided she could no longer handle her lifestyle. She then began to focus on her studies and job(s).

Modeling

Nguyen realized her life would get worse if she continued living in Texas, so she moved to Hollywood to pursue her career in entertainment. Her career began at the age of eighteen when she was discovered at the Sharpstown Mall by a Playboy scout and was offered a chance to model nude for the magazine. She declined at first, but she was featured as Playboy’s Cyber Girl of the week on April 22, 2002, and soon thereafter she became the first Asian Cyber Girl of the Month.

Nguyen gained further popularity through the import racing scene. She has been featured on the cover of Import Tuner magazine, at car shows such as Hot Import Nights, and in the video game Street Racing Syndicate. In 2003 she was a contestant on VH1’s Surviving Nugent, a reality TV show where participants performed compromising tasks and stunts for rock star Ted Nugent. She was also the most frequent host on the first season of Fuse TV’s dance show, Pants-Off Dance-Off, on which a motley group of contestants strip to music videos.

Kalia Willams, a 25 years old model, originally from a small town called Haleiwa located on the island of Oahu, Hawaii. Though She is from Hawai’i, She is of mixed backgrounds, black and white.
