The 18-year old newcomer has been hard at work on her debut, Voice of the Young People, for several years. The Evolution of The Hip Hop Honeys

Hip Hop Honeys have been around since rap excited,filled the hearts, bodies and souls of countless youths in the urban streets and ghettos of the world. For the United States, it all started in New York. To be exact 1520 Sedgwick Ave. in the Bronx,NY. As time moved on it became identified as Hip Hop as well as Rap,bebop,noise(my moms name for it) but most notably it was identified as the new voice of the streets and youth of america.

During the time of this new music moving and shaping the new movement for the music scene. Another new culture was forming. What goes hand in hand with music, parties and talented musicians??BEAUTIFUL LADIES… In that time you had to see a sexy black girl, butter pecan rican and many more. There were always fine honeys around looking to be on the scene and be seen.  Then came the rap music video, and the rap video girl. We got introduced to not only hearing and making our own vision,  but suddenly we were able with the help of music videos to seeing a short story as well.

Music videos eventually became a staple in the music industry. The video budgets grew bigger, story lines became more interesting and the “Beautiful Ladies” that were found partying around were asked to participate and make these stories more visable. Making the bragging of emcees riding around  with woman with big black booty everywhere appear to be the everyday life of some of the greats and the fantasies of every man viewing. As videos progressed and ladies in them became more of a focal point. We were treated to more exotica and adult music videos made for more mature audiences. If you were lucky enough to catch these special made videos you could catch them on adult times on popular cable networks(Playboy,BET etc.). Tune in during the right time you maybe would be privileged to see a sweet black stripper in a uncut rap video. Some times a nude black girl. Do you remember Tupac Shakur’s How do you want it uncut playboy video when we treated to a really hot black porn star by the name of Heather Hunter.
