Kevin Hart is a busy man these days. Not only has the comedian-actor been cast as the new host of BET’s “Comic View,” but Hart has also shot a reality pilot for the network.

According to Variety, Hart is the new face of BET’s “Comic View” as the long-running show undergoes a makeover. With a revamped look the stand-up comedy series, whose focus is on up-and-coming comedians, will also sport a new name, “Comic View: One Mic Stand”. As host, Hart –who had a stint as host of MTV’s “Celebrity Rap Superstar”– will follow the long-list of comic stars, like D.L. Hughley and Cedric the Entertainer, who performed on the “Comic View” stage.

Hart’s pilot, titled “I Ain’t Scared,” is a reality-based comedy that follows the Philadelphia native as he man’s up to a series of challenges that are stereotypically not popular with African-Americans. One clip will feature Hart participating in a bull-riding rodeo. Hart and 3 Art’s Entertainment Dave Becky are the executive producers on the BET pilot.

In related news, Hart has been tapped to star in the upcoming Screen Gems picture Not Easily Broken, starring opposite Morris Chestnut and Taraji P. Henson. His past roles include 2004’s Soul Plane, 2005’s The 40-Year-Old Virgin, 2006 ‘s Scary Movie 4, 08’s Superhero Movie, and Eddie Murphy’s forthcoming flick Meet Dave.
