Xzibit’s Infant Son Dies

Xzibit has revealed the tragic news of his son’s death via a blog entry titled “It’s 4:32 am and I Have Some Bad News.” Xzibit’s son, Xavier Joiner, arrived via premature labor on May 15th and immediately had trouble inhaling oxygen. “This week was extremely difficult for him because his lungs were not strong enough to handle regular oxygen on his own,” writes Xzibit. “Xavier passed away this morning at 3:30am and I must tell you this, It is unatural for a parent to bury a child.”

Continued X to the Z: “I am telling you this because of the same reason I tell you when I’m having great times, life is too short to be fake. Hold on to your kids, if you have them. Protect them and show them you love them everyday you wake up and see them. Don’t take a second you get to hug them, teach them and care for them for granted. You can have all the material wealth in the universe, but it is NOTHING compared to having your family.”

Xzibit’s last album was 2006’s Full Circle. Since then, the hip-hop veteran has been focused on his flourishing acting career. Our hearts go out to X and his family in this difficult time.
