What happen to hip hop?

Did everybody forget when the song had a purpose, and you didn’t have to ask someone “what is he saying“.

It seems like all that stopped, it’s all about walking it out, or some dance like that.

Only thing I can say is they are showing more hip hop honeys, although they are a little more covered, then back when Bet uncut aired.

Those uncut rap video girls where fun to watch, and let new people into the music video industry.

Now everything has very little originality, when it comes to the hip hop videos.

Main thing to me being from the USA and border line old school & new school.

I only respect lyrics ( beats just help ).

That’s why Rahkim, Nas, Biggie, Tupac, Eminem, Jay-Z, Lil Wayne, Mos Def, Talib, Luda and very few others will always stay hot, cause that passion of hip hop burned in side of them.

Through their life they wanted to express themselves about this cold vision ( their reality ). The thought process is have a hot song, if you want the streets to really respect you. You Must Be Real!
